TNPSC VAO

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) recruits Village Administration Officer (VAO) Vacancies. Candidates to gain eligibility to apply for Village Administration Officer must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Details:

1. Age: Candidates’ age should be above 21 years. Upper age limit would be 30 years for General candidates and 40 years for Reserved Category candidates.

2. Educational qualification: Candidates need to possess minimum general educational qualification (SSLC/HSC/Degree) with knowledge of Tamil language. The applicants who have not passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent are not eligible to apply even if they possess a higher qualification.

TNPSC VAO Selection Procedure: TNPSC VAO Selection Process is based on Written Examination.

i. The question papers will be set in two types
a. General Knowledge (100 items) with General Tamil (100 items)
b. General Knowledge (100 items) with General English (100 items).
ii. Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first 100 items on General Knowledge.
iii. The questions on “General Knowledge” will be set both in Tamil and in English and the questions on General Tamil and General English will be set in the respective languages.
